What Will You Accomplish in 2025?

New Year Newsletter 2

[January 7, 2025 – Blog] Many times, I am asked, “How do you get so much done?” Recently, my C200 friend and business leader Phoebe Wood answered that same question. Her eloquent response was: ruthless prioritization.

We all start each new year with great intentions, and I highly recommend writing them down. Of course, there are the “must-do” things on your list, such as annual medical check-ups and the associated actions like exercising more, adopting a healthier diet and taking better care of yourself.

Sometimes our lists also include home maintenance, renewing insurance policies, getting our children better organized for school projects and volunteering at our favorite nonprofit.

These are all good and necessary tasks, but are you also tackling the big, amazing, stimulating and daunting items that align with your hopes and dreams?

For me, the big stuff requires ruthless prioritization. It is so easy to get bogged down in the small stuff. While these necessary things distract us, they also give us an excuse to avoid the monumental goals we truly want to achieve in our lives.

Put the big stuff at the top of your list. Arrange your schedule to work toward those goals every day. Big goals require planning, time management and bringing in the right people who can help your vision become a reality. They also require saying no to a lot of things that might get in the way of your dreams. Major projects can feel overwhelming, but when you chip away at the most important items that have a lasting impact, you’ll give yourself a well-earned pat on the back and feel truly rewarded.

I have my eye on a few ‘biggies’ for 2025. I know it will take ruthless prioritization to make them happen, so here I go!

Making the important list,
