Cherishing Holiday Traditions

Cherishing Traditions blog

[December 20, 2022 – Blog] Much of the holidays is about celebrating traditions, and one of my favorite traditions in our family is our Eggnog Party. It goes back many years to my husband’s family in South Texas. After opening presents, family members go house to house drinking eggnog while enjoying special treats. We continued this with clients and friends when I owned my company T3, and to this day, eggnog (spiked for an extra kick!) is still part of my new annual party at our ranch.

Thank you all who joined us last week at my Hill Country Holiday Party in my art gallery, including our friends at Wedding Oak Winery and Yes, Please! Gourmet Treats. It was wonderful to see new faces, good friends, former T3 employees and some top brass from The University of Texas including McCombs’ Dean Lillian Mills and Texas Exes CEO Chuck Harris. As a new tradition we also welcomed past graduates of our Women Who Mean Business program at McCombs for a mini-reunion with a great turnout! Visit my website to enjoy photo highlights.

Continuing cherished traditions is what makes the season special and I hope you all make time to celebrate your own traditions. Whether we toasted together or you were with us in spirit, your support throughout the year means a lot to me and I am truly grateful.

Wishing you and your family a very happy holidays!
