Gay Gaddis, LLC is seeking a multi-talented and ambitious intern to join our lean, growing team. With offices in downtown Austin and a private art gallery and studio in Burnet, Texas, this position is unpaid, but offers flexible hours with significant growth opportunities and the chance to learn from a business trailblazer. Based on experience and skills, this position will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks which may include researching and developing target lists for national and international speaking engagements, overseeing meetings and daily call reports, producing designed materials using photography and video editing skills, updating digital assets including, maintaining social media channels, and orchestrating and assisting with special events both in-person and virtual (i.e. art tours, leadership training, etc.). This role will assist the Executive Director across the many disciplines and the ideal candidate is a self-starter, resourceful, polished and eager to take ownership of projects.

Additionally, at the end of the internship, the marketing intern may be considered for a paid part-time marketing position with elevated responsibilities and potential career growth.

Based on experience and skill set, duties may include:

  • Develop and oversee social media plans
  • Maintain and enhance
  • Assist in writing and scheduling email campaigns
  • Research and develop target lists and mailings for speaking opportunities focused on entrepreneurship, female empowerment, marketing and advertising
  • Research and develop target lists and mailings for art galleries and art shows
  • Coordinate and manage calendars
  • Assist in planning and executing special events
  • Produce or oversee video footage editing for speaking reels and website
  • Photograph artwork and/or live events
  • Design print and digital creative materials
  • Attend bi-monthly in-person meetings and/or special events at the Austin or Burnet, TX office locations
