[ARTICLE] For over 60 years, Central Texas has benefitted from award-winning television programming by Austin PBS, KLRU-TV and I was proud to salute their legacy at a recent premiere. Tribeza magazine’s “Social Hour” celebrated the event highlighting must-see content to watch as well as notable guests in attendance that I had the pleasure of joining.
Austin PBS announced the programming for its upcoming season at Austin Media Center. Community members received a sneak peek of the new docuseries “Taco Mafia” and return of beloved series like “Overheard With Evan Smith” and “Central Texas Gardener.” Started in 1962, Austin PBS is the only locally-owned nonprofit public television station in Central Texas, providing essential services to millions of viewers.
