[September 26, 2023 – Blog] For the many years I ran my advertising agency, T3, understanding our client’s brands and helping them evolve and grow was at the core of our services. We would spend months working with our clients to develop synergistic brand experiences to clearly communicate with their target audiences.
A few years ago, I did this same labor-intensive brand exercise for Gay Gaddis LLC. From that, we built GayGaddis.com, a website that reflects the many hats I wear as an entrepreneur, author, leadership instructor, professional speaker and artist.
However, since then my art career has grown exponentially. With over 200 paintings sold to date, I’ve been fortunate to have my artwork shown in numerous galleries around the country, in private homes, offices and public spaces around the world – from London, Mexico and Portugal to Boston, Chicago and New York.
Art itself is about embracing change. American artist Raymond Salvatore Harmon once said, “Art is an evolutionary act. At no point is art static.” So, it felt like the right time to evolve myself, as an artist.
(Drum roll please) Today, I’m delighted to share with you, GayGaddisArt.com, my new website devoted to my art career. With the beauty I find in the Texas Hill Country as the heart of the website, it features online galleries of my paintings, notable collectors and testimonials, an online shop, a behind-the-scenes look at my private art gallery and studio, Fossil Ridge, and more. While still accessible from my business website, this new digital space offers art lovers a more in-depth view of my artistic endeavors. I hope you’ll explore the site and stay tuned for the launch of my new collection. You all will be invited to a virtual preview and an in-person opening in December at my gallery at Double Heart Ranch.
Whether you’re part of a Fortune 500 company or a boutique small business, spending time really thinking about your brand and revisiting it often is important. Sometimes we get so busy with the day-to-day operations that we forget businesses evolve and the brand experience must grow in tandem. It’s a lesson I take to heart as well.
Always growing!
